Large trucks usually have dual rear axles. If they are driven separately, two drive shafts or a transfer case are needed at the output end of the gearbox, which is bulky and troublesome. Now a through-shaft is designed in the middle axle to solve this problem. The axle drives both rear axles simultaneously. If the through-shaft oil seal is damaged or cracked, causing oil leakage, it needs to be replaced. When replacing the through-shaft oil seal, loosen the fastening nut of the upper flange of the through-shaft and remove the flange. Use a screwdriver to remove the through-shaft oil seal and replace it. When installing a through-shaft oil seal, first make sure it is an original part. When assembling, you must use a wooden hammer or rubber hammer to seal the through-shaft oil into the through-shaft bearing seat. The plane gap between the through-shaft oil seal and the through-shaft oil seal seat is 0-0.5 mm; after installation, the oil seal is higher than the oil seal seat, and the gap difference in one circle is 0.25 mm. After adjustment, the axial movement range of the through shaft in the bearing seat is 0.03 ~ 0.10 mm.
